Films of any length are welcomed in the program and may cover any topic. Only films produced after January 1, 2006 will be considered. "The beauty of the JHFF is twofold. First, the films themselves were some of the most stunning instances of independent cinema I've seen collected together in a single film festival (due in no small part to the very talented and dedicated JHFF programmers). Second, the breathtaking vistas of the Teton Mountains that provide a backdrop to the idyllic town of Jackson Hole are worth going to see all by themselves. Combine these two factors and you have one of the best film festival experiences in the country." - Shyam Balse, Writer/Director, "Monsoon"
